Psalm 101, written by David early in his reign as the anointed King of Israel, was his intention, his promise of how he would lead as a king. David desired to live a God FIRST life and this was his vow. However, he allowed his flesh to lead instead of following the Spirit of God, which led to David stumbling during his reign.
